We arrived in Massouri late in the night and fetched something to eat from Antoni's and Niki's shop, and ate a lite snack in our hotel room in Elena Apartments. When we woke up we had breakfast and then we strolled down the main street familiarizing ourselves with Massouri. Soon we saw a restaurant that had a gorgeous view to the sea and the island of Telendos. We found Aegean Tavern, the fine dining restaurant of Massouri, which was to become one of our favourite restaurants during this holiday.

The dinner includes honey puffs as a dessert. Absolutely delicious!
The Kalymnias say that their thyme honey is the best in the world. It is very good and we should have brought more of it to home when we returned.

We recommend our readers to eat the dinner during the sunset. The view is stunning.
Comments
Aegean Tavern is an absolutely wonderful lunch and dinner restaurant. It is at its best during the dinner, when the sun sets down. We want to send greetings to all the waiters whom we met. Especially Dimitris and the Danish waiter, whose name we forgot.
Unfortunately we cannot make it to Kalymnos this upcoming summer, but will be there in 2016. This has been decided a long time ago. Looking forward to more lunch and dinner experiences at Aegean Tavern.
