We like Greek food very much, but when one stays several weeks in Greece one starts to long for something completely different. Restaurant Azul is one such place on the island of Kalymnos. They serve great wines and very good food.
The dreep fried pita slices are both crunchy and tasty.
Good cocktails are uncommon in Greece, but Azul is a delightful exception.
Most people drink cheap table wines in Greece, which is rather sad, because the Greek have very, very good quality wines. This mavrodaphne at Azul was no exception. We even bought two bottles for taking home.
Friendly staff, very good food and excellent wines. Azul is highly recommendable.

During my first time in Paris, of course I wanted to see Tour Eiffel, a landmark and the symbol of Paris.
I had hoped, in vain, that the touristy places of Paris would not be full of people in the early October, so I decided not to even try going up to the Tower. I opted for Tour Montparnasse, where one also gets a spectacular view to the city.

The light gray building on left is Sacré-Cœur and my hotel Hotel Audran is somewhere left from the church.
